Wr0ng Turn

I missed our only class for the week. I hoped that I didn't missed anything important.
I got lost with my schedule and ended up absent in my class. Octava sung at our Humanities Class. They performed a Maranao song about a girl and her boyfriend. Sort of like a conversation between the two.

The week was going fine until we heard the news that my Aunt died of cancer. We were mourning for she died at a young age of 63. She was strong but the cancer cells were stronger. The doctor said that even if she went to chemo therapy she would still die. The best thing to do was to be strong enough to let go.

It's going to be a long weekend. I'm planning to do a lot of stuff that would kill time. Happy weekend.

Writing in English

I find it formal and more professional when writing in English.
You loose nothing if you use English. In fact, it will help you develop your
speaking and writing skills. When applying for a job, your resume is not in Filipino or Visaya but in English.
Some people may laugh at you if you use English but you will have the last laugh.
Personally, I find it easier to write in English than to speak it. I used to write a lot of poems when I was still in the elementary. But it seems that I lost the drive to write so I stopped which I regret.
Writing in English is more precise and you can be sure that it is grammatically correct because you can edit it or change it. Writing can be fun as long as you know what you are writing. It is important to remember that you write to express not to impress. Sometimes writing in English can be tiresome. In the process of writing, you may not remember the correct term or you will run out of words to use. It happened top me a lot of times.
I think it will be fun to be writing again. It will be hard but there is no reason not to try.
There is one downside in writing. The reader may have a different interpretation of your emotions or feelings which may result to misunderstanding.

Learning Blog

English 2 - new faces, new challenges, same teacher?
It's kind of funny. We were guessing who our teacher was going to be and we started with the teachers we had last semester. One of us mentioned the name of Ma'am Lynnie and suddenly she went into our class and introduced herself and did all those stuffs that teachers did on the first day of meeting. We had this shocked look on our face and moments later we were laughing silently for it had come true. The first thing that came to our minds were assignments, lots and lots of it. But then it was covered with the possibility of no classes and fun in the class. Our class last semester involved a lot of homework. But you can never blame her because she's just doing her job and we, students, must do our share also. I like classes that has lots of activities. Classes that are dynamic. They keep you sharp and your mind sound and it never gets boring.
As expected, she gave us an assignment to work on and then be presented in class in the following meetings. We had to write a topic that we know and like and have to supply related topics. During the next class, we were grouped according to our topics and my partner is the same as the one last sem. I never knew that it was that easy to make a write-up. You just need an outline and poof a well-guided and perfect write-up.
I'm looking forward for more meetings and learning something new and useful. I hope that no accidents will happen so that we will still have classes... XD...
